Leigh Archer is an attorney and strategic Human Resources consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in HR Leadership and Consulting.  She has experience leading HR departments for multiple state agencies as well as providing fractional support and consultative services to several private sector entities.  She provides thoughtful consultation in the areas of employee relations, employee investigations, classification and compensation, policy development and design, legal compliance, change management, and organizational design. In addition, her experience in organizational design and efficiency analysis allows her to lead reform efforts to improve office operations. 

In her roles, Leigh has served as a trusted advisor in providing strategic and expert guidance to organizations on various HR matters.  She relies on her background as an attorney to make recommendations about risk avoidance/mitigation and remains up to date on current trends and HR “best practices.” 

She received her Juris Doctor from University of Richmond School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was a Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary.  She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SPHR) designation.  She is also certified in Diversity & Inclusion and Organizational Development.
